It's a dark day for my V2 and I've finally experienced my first wire breakage in my x-chain. I have spare FEP wire on hand to swap out the broken run, but I'm kind of scratching my head how to do this efficiently.
My cable chains open on the outside of the bend radius, meaning for most of the length of the chain the little doors are on the bottom lying flat against the extrusion and are not accessible. I'm not confident I can snake a new wire all the way through the X,Y & Z chains without opening the doors or getting everything tangled - am I going to have to bite the bullet and completely disassemble everything? Curious if anyone has any tips to make this slightly less painful.
And yes, before anyone suggests it I do plan on moving to a USB toolhead board, was in the process of printing new parts for my gantry rebuild when this happened.
