I hate this new update - No More Backdrop

This new update is very bad. I hate how I can’t use the Backdrop feature anymore. The option is still there in settings but all it says is “The Google Ambiant Mode screensaver is no longer supported by Chromecast built-in” I use to leave my TV on and just have it cycle through those photos while I had company over but now I can’t.
