SB36512-f6 long delay after no audio with LPCM

Howdy, I have a major issue with my Vizio SB36512-f6 sound bar. Effectively, if the audio format is in LPCM, after ~5 seconds of no audio the soundbar will take upwards of 3 seconds before the audio comes back. It seems to only happen with LPCM audio, I've tried Dolby Atmos/Dolby MAT content and it doesn't have this issue.

Is this a known issue? Is it being worked on? Is there a way to work around the issue?

This makes the soundbar almost unusable for normal content. I hope someone is working on it.

Setup: ATV 4K -HDMI-> Sound bar -HDMI-> Vizio P65Q9-H1 (HDMI 1) Firmware: SB: 1.41.03.1 TV: 5.520.32.3-2
