Comms - How to make it better
Post Body

Hey everybody.

We recently made the jump from ClearCom freespeak II, and analog clear com tied into CCUs to a full digital ClearCom Eclipse frame. The company that made the install did a great job getting us started and being a resource to answer questions and help us dial it in.

Just for clarity here is a rough breakdown of our system. Itโ€™s about a 50/50 split of people either using an eclipse Iris 1U or 2U panel, or still using Freespeak Beltpacks because they need to be mobile.

I still feel like we are using our system inefficiently and desire to make it better.

But, I donโ€™t even know the questions to ask myself and our team to figure out how to create a more efficient use of comms. Currently we use about 3 PLs so traffic can get pretty chaotic during services, plus a remote site connected via LQ. Any thoughts or guidance on how I should proceed? Or any experience from others on changing the culture of your organization and how the communicate using comms?
