This is why i chose each pokemon on the team. I’m too lazy to use a damage calc to get the perfect EVs for my pokemon so thats why most of them are 252/252/4.

Scizor: I saw a WolfeyVGC video on how stellar is a niche tera type, and i figured “why not challenge myself to build a pokemon who can use it to its advantage?” Which is where i got the Scizor idea. Scizor likes using many different moves, so it fits fairly well. When regulation H comes around, she’s probably going to get zapdos’s focus sash, as the 4x fire weakness kind of makes scizor a prime target for flame charge koraidon/incin.

Ditto: The only reason i chose ditto is because its a funky lil’ guy. That, and the fact that scarf ditto can put in some work against ko/miraidon, raging bolt, and shadow rider calyrex too.

Landorus: I had a shiny landorus lying around in shield, and i knew it got the new sandsear storm, which still works with sheer force. Landorus also works fairly well with Kyogre, who sets up rain and makes it so sandsear storm can’t miss. Landorus has put in quite a bit of work, but wide guard makes it less effective.

Kyogre: With Landorus on the team, i wanted a rain setter, and i figured kyogre was my best bet. Bulky, with good Sp. Attack, and origin pulse is a spread move? Count me in. I run icy wind to hit some grass types and also lower speed as a bit of support.

Zapdos: probably my least favorite pokemon on the team, zapdos just doesnt put in as much work as the other members. Yeah it has tailwind, and it gets hurricane and thunder which cant miss due to kyogres drizzle, but i notice that even the tailwind isnt too enticing against most teams. Im most likely going to replace it with Origin forme Palkia if Reg H allows for 2 restricted pokemon.

Cacturne: The sleeper pick, cacturne. Cacturne counters one of the best non-restricted pokemon around, urshifu Rapid strike. With water absorb and tera ghost, urshifu has no stab moves that can hit it. I run leaf storm for a high power stab move that gets rid of urshifu (and possibly kyogre) and sucker punch and knock off because they are incredibly good moves. I wish cacturne got shadow sneak, because i would for sure run that over tera blast.

Thats my team i made it to masterball with, now im just trying, albeit with not much success, to climb to the high ranks of masterball. Do yall have any recommendations on different pokemon, or other strategies that might work? Do let me know! Thanks!
