So there’s a little game shop in my town and they are having a small local event and I’m going to go, this would be my very first in person tourney so just looking to see how it goes. I’ve been trying to get a little bit better at competitive this year and this is my attempt at building a team so feel free to rip it apart and provide feedback.

I got the idea of Gothitelle from some YouTube videos and thought I could try to make it work. I really like shadow tag as a trapping mechanism. I tend to lead with Gothitelle/Urshifu or Arcanine which puts quite a bit of offensive pressure, plus fake out support and taunt if need be to try and deal with set up Pokemon that are hard to deal with.

There’s some speed control with Tailwind and icy wind. I was using kingambit over A-Ninetails but I wanted to find a way to keep Gothitelle around longer and I like it as a way to deal with Landorus. Amoongus for some redirection and healing and to complete the Fire/Water/Grass core. I was considering Sinistcha but wasn’t sure which one fit better here…
