Format will start January 4th and go to April 30th.
It'll be Regulation E mons new mons added in the Indigo Disk DLC. No mention of "special pokemon" being allowed, which is TPCi's code word for "Restricted Pokemon," so it seems like we're dodging a restricted format for at least another 4 months.
No word either way on whether stuff like Walking Wake/Iron Leaves will be legal.
As a comparison to SwSh, around when Reg F will end is when SwSh had its first Restricted format, which allowed 1 Restricted Pokemon per team, whereas 2016 and 2019 were full years of Restricted formats beginning just after Worlds. So we'll see how much longer we'll have with a regional dex!
What new cores do you want to try out in Regulation F?
Edit: one I'd like to use is Dewgong on either a Perish Trap team or a snow team. Dewgong is my bro even with mid af stats.
I'm just here celebrating more time without restricted 'mon, playing with my low tiers while I still barely can.
