After doing some research I learned that the flickering fi light is usually related to the earth box. This made sense to me because it seemed to be effected by the use of turn signals and headlights. I cut the earth box off and re did the connections. Added an additional thicker wire to the ground mounted on the frame and no more fi light. I also disconnected the flapper and removed the snorkel and WOW what a difference. The power is there all the way through the revs. Before I would have a bit of power in first and the beginning of second but then a flat spot until I got over like 5k. Now it’s consistent all the way up the revs and it sounds better too!!! I have read people saying that these don’t do anything and I have to say they are wrong. Although I do agree that messing with the pair system would be pointless unless your adding a full exhaust system deleting the cat and 02 sensors and installing a power commander. Other than that I don’t see a need to mess with the pair system as I doubt it has any negative effect on performance. But that’s just my thoughts.
