This weekend's First Wings event is between Sydney (YSSY) and Brisbane (YBBN) in Australia. This event is specifically tailored towards newer flyers on the network, with friendly and patient ATC online to assist. With Brisbane being my home airport and Sydney being the most popular airport in Australia (even on VATSIM), I'd like to offer to guide anyone who's interested in taking the leap to VATSIM either with joint controls or over discord.

I've been simming casually for over 10 years, on VATSIM for almost 2 years, recently got accredited as an S2 controller on VATSIM, and have a real-world interest in aviation. I'm happy to help with everything from basic circuit flying to flight planning to ATC phraseology either standard or specific to Australia.
