VAT for military Aircraft sims (AWACS)

IS there a game or system that anyone knows about that could have someone fill the role of a AWACS radio operator. VATSIM like rolls seem interesting and while I know people take it serious, I wonder if from a mil-spec role-play thing, there is something out there that could be used to allow someone giving battlefield updates and providing IFF info.
