aligning a real person with the vam character/avatar? with a tracker?

Would there be any hardware, camera trackers combination that would enable this?

I would like to be able to sit on say the couch and have the virt-a-mate character say giving a bj

would it be possible somehow to align a real person in the physical room with the virt-a-mate character so that when my girlfriend who is in the same room as I am physically would be how I see when i'm wearing the vr headset giving me head? I'm not sure if this makes sense. somehow to track her location in the room with a tracker (i'm using valve index) so when her head moves the avatar or virt-a-mate charcter moves in the same way direction?
