How do you properly play Killjoy with patch 1.11?

I have been dying a LOT more in general with the changes made to her playstyle. I used to be able to get easier kills and activate my gadgets at the right moments to get kills but now they disable themselves when far out of range and I’m not sure what type of positioning I need to stay ahead of my enemy team.

What do you guys do now with 1.11? Do you place like alarms behind you or something when moving around the map? Or do you keep a turret out in front of you or something? What do you guys recommend for playing her after they made her adjustments?
