I have empathy for Riot and the Valorant team. It is impossible to create the perfect ranking/que system.

That being said. I just lost a match and received the double red down arrows despite being team MVP, having the #1 combat score, a pentakill, a quadrakill, a triple kill, and clutching at least twice.

If I could change one thing to the ranking system....

Create a down rank exception when losing a match. If you meet the following criteria, you will not decrease in rank.

1. You are solo que
2. You are team MVP or match MVP
3. You have at least 2 bomb plants and/or defuses
4. You have one of the following: 1 pentakill, 2 quadrakills, or 3 triple kills
5. You bought a teammate a weapon

I was going to add in 1-2 clutches but then people would bait.

This scenario has happened to me several times because I mainly solo que. Taking me from Plat1 to Gold1. Solo que = sad times.
