First, I want to thank everyone that posts and votes to our community. Utah is an amazing place and we get some pretty incredible skies.
If you that have been a member of this sub for a while you might remember several months ago I had disagreement with the mods of that other popular subreddit for that city in Utah (which will remain unnamed). Their parting shot at me to stroke their ego was:
"I wish you the best of luck with growing your sub without our help."
Well, I'm happy to say we've been quite successful without their help. We've added nearly 200 new subscribers and have several new contributors. As we approach the milestone of 1000 subscribers, I'd like to celebrate by having a contest.
The contest is pretty simple. The new post that is submitted between February 1 and March 5, 2022 that gets the most upvotes will be given a Platinum Award. A Platinum Award gives the poster a month of ad-free browsing and 700 coins.
The fine print: to be eligible, the photo must be your original content. The photo does not need to have been taken during the contest, but it must be media of the Utah skies. I am also excluding my own posts.
Remember, everyone has a camera in their pocket, so you can participate!
Please submit your photos. If you see posts in other subs with photos of Utah's skies, please suggest they share them here. Let's keep this momentum rolling!
