Has anyone sold a user car & got a good price out of it in the past month or two? I work for a car insurance company & new vehicle purchases are up since the release of the 23’s.
I have a 2015 Chevy Sonic that just crossed 55k. I know I won’t make more than I paid, a few months ago I was quoted 12k by CarMax, the best of all of them.
With it being winter, I’m not really going to NEED a car until spring & have gotten behind on other debts. Really need to get caught up. I’m trying to decide if selling is the best move for now or just non-use it, and cancel the insurance. It’s paid off.
I have everything delivered & really only get out for the dog. Currently my housemate is driving it daily to work but he’s almost in a position to buy his own. Just don’t want to sell it too soon if the used market is going to rebound.
