So it's been almost 4 weeks since my Urolift procedure. My bladder has been in retention since and I've been wearing a catheter. First for a day, then a week, then two weeks. Monday I go to have it taken out and take a "void" test. I am not so convinced anything has changed and I'll be able to empty my bladder. I am terrified I am gonna get the same answer. Hurry up and wait, with a catheter. Has my bladder been healing in all this time with the catheter? Should I be doing something else? I just don't think enough has been done. Anybody have any suggestions of what I can ask the doctor, if they wanna put the catheter in? I just feel the catheter is there way of padding me on.
