Treatment for men in the UK if female partner is diagnosed
Post Body

Hi all. I’m at my wits end with trying to get accurate and clear guidance. I’m female and was lucky enough to get referred privately for some investigation which has resulted in me being diagnosed as having Ureaplasma. (After multiple UTIs this makes sense). I’ve been given antibiotics and told my male partner will need to treat to but they can’t treat him as he’s not on the private medical insurance I had through work. I don’t want to treat myself only to be reinfected if he has it.

What the most straightforward, affordable route for him? I’m in the UK and the NHS are looking like a 9 month wait.

Please help. Frustrated, in more ways than one.
