Would anyone be interested in a daily or weekly discussion thread?

I became a mod here when we were under 1000 total members and tried it, but honestly didn't see much activity on those threads during that time.
Now that we have more than 11k subs, I'm wondering if there would be more interest in having a daily or weekly thread where anyone can post what they are doing on their property, tips, etc without feeling obligated to start an entirely separate discussion thread.
Let me know what you guys and gals think.
