Just the other day I was finishing a long day canning tomatoes in my tiny Brooklyn kitchen, when a friend popped in for some dandelion tea and homemade sourdough. I always keep a dozen fresh eggs around for her to take with her after these visits.
Anyway, we got to talking, and she mentions how she loves all the work I do, and wishes she had the time, but with her life she just has to go to the grocery store.
The what? I say.
It blew my mind, people! I just had to go. There's this giant building where you can just go and buy things!
What have we all been doing?! Seriously, boom my swale, why haven't I known about this?
I don't know if I'll go all-in right away, but I might start buying flour instead of grinding my own hand harvested wheat berries that I grow on my rooftop aquaponics system. Some company called Mon-san-to apparently figured this all out much better than me!
Thought I'd share! Thanks!
