I hope the mods don't mind me starting a weekly thread, but I haven't seen any updates in over a week. I'm sure everyone is just busy learning or taking care of their homesteads, but I thought I'd try to get some discussion going.
http://imgur.com/a/WDcHs We finally had an afternoon thunderstorm after 3 weeks of virtually zero rainfall. Very unusual for this area. I snapped a few pics after the storm was over. Other than lack of rain, my garden is still growing well. Have almost replaced the entire garden over to warm season crops.
How's everyone elses homestead been going? Are you relaxing while you wait for your summer crops to come in and ripen? Or are you cursing all the bugs, diseases and heat that come along with summer?
