Whats going on with my paprika plant :(?

It was pretty hot in the last days and i watered the plant everyday and it grew and grew and looked healthy. Now today theres no sun and it looks already dead. Is that only because of the missing sun or did i give too much water? Is there a way to know whats wrong with my plant just from the looks of it..?
