Hey all! Glad I found this little online community. Every year I plan a week in the summer to hike and this year I'm beginning to plan my trip into the Adirondacks.

What I'm looking for: 1. Recommendations on where to go. I hear the high peaks are gorgeous, but also pretty heavy traffic in mid-summer 2. Recommended campsites preferably near water for bathing - the more secluded, the better 3. Friends to join me - looking for people in a similar age rage (early to mid 30's) and fitness level (I usually aim for 7 hiking days over 9 days total at about 10mi/day) 4. Hike loops that have a town at about the mid way point where I could stop in to re-supply 5. Local spots to check out whole I'm in the area
