Can someone explain the PhD application process for an external student?

Hello I completed my Masters in Counselling in BC, and have been practicing as a counsellor there. Ive recently moved to Toronto and I would like to a PhD, I am interested in UoFT's PhD in counselling. The application asks which faculty I want to work with. I dont know any faculty as I am not from this school. Can someone give me advice on how to navigate this? I have about a month to get my application in.
