Do you remember the phishing attack last week? Well, in response, it sounds like UofT silently disabled SMTP for Outlook. So if you've been unable to send emails for a week, this might be why.
SMTP, in case you don't know, is the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. It's the internet standard for sending email. Just about every email client speaks it. Now you can't send email - except through Outlook.
Can anybody corroborate this?
EDIT: It's true. Here is their page about it. https://uthrprod.service-now.com/sp?id=kb_article&sys_id=063f3658dbb3f09094a0334239961912&spa=1
