I'm an int'l student currently living in Metro Vancouver area. I know I should plan to stay in Toronto if U of T confirms the announcement that students should live nearby/in the uni from this fall, I should take a flight from Vancouver to Toronto.
Am I required to quarantine myself for 2 weeks in this case?
I've heard U of T supports(by paying fees) students who should quarantine themselves after the flight, borrowing hotel rooms or something for a week, not entire 2 weeks. Then how can these students afford their foods and stuffs after the week passes?
I don't think landlords are willing to give a rent to tenants who needs to be quarantined. Does U of T pay the hotel fees and foods for students who are in the same cases as me? Or should I just not look forward to the help of u of t as they are not interesed in it?
