I'm planning to settle down first and get a PR before applying to grad school due to the international tuition cost. How much will I negatively affected when it comes to the admission? (+ Recommendation letters, The absence of study records after the graduation)

I have tangible concerns about the negative impact when I get through the admission process because I should settle down and get a PR first, to reduce the tuition cost. So I'm quite concerned if the professors will not write the recommendation letters or ghost me cuz they (high likely) won't remember me after few years.
