Making friends for next year.

I'm entering my senior year (yay) but I still find it hard to make friends and be in clubs. I drive 3x a week from Phx for class and I'm a veteran. And I'm also 33, so as you can see, in alot of ways I feel like a fish out of water. Idk maybe I'm over thinking this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)
