Debate team?

So, I like to "argue." I don't mean to be argumentative, but I like discourse. I figure a debate team would be a good way to get this out if my system. I saw there was one for social and behavioral sciences, but I'm in ENVS and EEB. Could I join? How does this work? I don't care what the topic of debate is I just like to argue about it lmao.
I also saw some are paid so if I could do a paid one I'd be able to fit it into my schedule easier.
