Dear Dave

I miss you so much. I miss our old lifestyle together, I miss having friends. I miss having someone in my life that would do anything for me, you were my everything. I miss our bike rides together, it was just recently bike week. Thinking of you the most. I know we would’ve had so much fun, we always had fun and I know how much you always looked forward to bike week each year.

I miss your unconditional love so much. You cared so much about me. The fear in your eyes when you became sick wasn’t for fear of passing, but what would become of me once that happened. 



You gave me life. It was around you I could come to life and just be myself. No filter. No reasons, justifications or apologies. I could be myself. Since your passing I’ve been a million different people it seems. I’ve felt a million different emotions, been to hell and back. 




You always kept all my old love letters. I know, I found them in the Ozzy collection case. God, you loved Ozzy. You said your collection would be worth a ton once he died, but you’d be dead before then. I would’ve thought you’d have loved to be a hundred and five. I could’ve sworn you’d of outlived me, even. Why did you have to go?



 I need you so much. You were like a warm cup of cocoa with extra extra marshmallows and a nice, soft heating blanket on a freezing cold, snowy, dark day. You were a perfectly sweetened glass of iced tea and an umbrella on the most sweltering, sweaty, hot day in the peak of summer.
