Post Body

There was only one thing that I gently hinted at, numerous times before the end.

One thing that I requested.

Do you still not know what it is?

A simple, honest, genuine thing.

An apology.

"Hey, I acknowledge that I said something unnecessarily unkind to you, when you were both trying to help yourself, and help me. It wasn't fair of me to say that."

I asked you half a dozen times, and you were too proud to acknowledge that what you said wasn't respectful or considerate.

You made excuse after excuse as to why you said it, but you didn't have the simplicity or the compassion to own up to it. Therefore, I didn't display the patience.

Any reasonable, compassionate human being would've simply said sorry, if not immediately, then at least four months later.

Nothing. Zippo. Nada.

The choices you make.
