You were kind, generous, loving, and a hell of a planner.

I loved it when you visited, meeting my family, having fun and our vacation together. Your friends were pleasant and we have almost always be there for one another.

However, I had to pull away. This is for my self-preservation. You said you would move to me. Marry me. Prepare yourself for new jobs and maybe babies.

I was on-board!

I did my best at such a distance. But, you never left him. You never even began your divorce proceedings even when you assured me you were or did.

You knew my past and knew I was in this situation before. I couldn't handle another "almost". Then after New Years, you said you didn't want to move to me. Let's be honest, that's a breakup. Your excuse you told me recently was beyond comprehension. Made no sense.

I have to take responsibility for putting myself in another difficult dilemma. But I would never take the risk unless I was seriously all-in. I don't understand how a couple just lives together with no affection, sleep in the same bed, and dates others...and tells no one the truth. You're basically roommates.

But, yet again you now have yet another bf long distance. I'm not the first nor the last. But, you haven't made one move for your situation. You're still married and still in the same spot. I dunno if you're chasing an illusion or you're waiting for the perfect overlap. But, I can't be around that right now.

Therefore, I think it's best we do not speak.

I gave you a $1500 microphone so you can further your career path. I have plenty of good memories and pictures. I regret nothing.
