All I needed on my birthday was company, but you made it even better with the thoughtful card. I stare at it now and again and smile because I know you thought of me when you picked it out. You were right. I love it! It's funny and it fits me perfectly! Seeing your handwriting where you signed makes me feel giddy. You gave a tiny bit of yourself to me without even knowing it. You've been leaving your stuffed animals with me when you're out of town.

Thank you! Everything you've been doing, everything you've been doing means a lot to a lonely stranger.
