Did it ever occur to some that snakes can live a very lonely existence. It grows, and then in time it sheds its skin. Like a hair cut or a wardrobe update, the snake sheds its skin and renews itself.

Sometimes I wish I was a snake. To live and go through life then shed my skin to get rid of the past experiences I’ve had, the sadness I’ve endured, the heartbreak I’ve encountered. I would feel like a new woman every time. How refreshing it would be to just leave that old self behind and start anew.

I’d love to shed the last few years of my life. I’d shed all the hardships and bad memories, I’d shed all the lose I’ve had and shed all the heartbreak I have felt. I honestly think being a snake would not be the end of the world and if one day I leave this earth and reincarnate, I hope I do come back as a snake.
