I had a dream about you last night. Which is weird to me, the thought of you has not crossed my mind since we last spoke.

We were at a cottage, and the weather outside was horrific. A bad winter storm, with high winds. We settled into bed when the power went out and it got cold in there fast. We got up and moved to the living room. I moved the mattress on to the floor in front of the fireplace, and started a fire to help keep us warm. You went and grabbed every blanket in the cottage for us to lay under.

Under the blankets, we cuddled, in front of the fire to the sound of the howling wind outside. We got interrupted when the wind damaged a window pane, causing it to bang off the side of the cottage repeatedly. I got up to open the window and pull the pane off and bring it inside to stop the noise. You giggled at the sight of my bare butt, and me commenting on how cold that wind was when I leaned out the window. I got the pane inside, closed the window, and you held the blanket open beckoning me to come inside and finish what we started.

We did the thing, big spoon little spoon, and continued cuddling when it was finished. When I fell asleep in my dream, that's when I woke up to my alarm going off IRL.

I sat up in bed, remembering everything and asking myself:

what? Why? I haven't even thought about her in months... wtf...?

Oh well

It was just a dream.

Dreams mean nothing.
