I don’t know you but we know him. He was stringing me along and I asked why? Said it was because of you. That he didn’t feel right seeing me again while talking to you even though you’re not in a committed relationship. I’m learning that’s who he really is, a wholesome person.

I wonder though, do you know that? That he’s putting all his eggs in one basket for you? That you’re with someone who is smart, sweet, and insanely talented with everything he touches? No, he’s not perfect but he is probably the most caring and thoughtful man I’ve ever met and you are one lucky woman to have him pick you.

I hope you’re enjoying time with him, appreciating his interest in you, wanting to hear him talk in that accent I could listen to for days. Has he taken you along to learn his hobbies? I was really looking forward to spending time outside with him learning new things.

I’ll admit I hope things don’t work out with the both of you, if it means I see him just one more time. In the meantime, be glad that he chose you, as you are one lucky woman for it.
