ever happens to me , it wasn’t your fault.

it wasn’t my father’s. my sister’s. not yours either.

i was born into darkness. moments of light, few and far between.

some of us can be helped, some of us cannot.

some of us can hang on. some of us let go

and it’s Us who decides it. who’s decisions /who’s ‘fault’ it is. there is no fault. there is only lightness, darkness and the in between.

maybe you helped guide me into light.

but before you help another, you have to put on your own safety mask.

you have put on your mask. there is no fault in that.

i’ve been trying to put mine on too but some of us can’t do it. maybe some of us choose not to. maybe i’m choosing not to
