Does anyone know of a specific case where reward money led to actually catching a murderer?

I always see families posting reward money or upping the amount of reward money in order to get leads on a case, sometimes decades later, even. And yet I can't think of a case where this actually led to someone getting caught and convicted. Has anybody heard of this working?
