Renzon Alfonso Vargas Rodriguez was born October 23rd, 1992, in Bucaramanga, Colombia. From what I've seen reported, he was an avid traveler and backpacker, with further plans to travel to Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, and India with his girlfriend, a German national. He arrived in Serbia in October of 2022, and took up residence at the Habitat Hostel, located at Kneza Miloša br. 2 in Belgrade. This is in Belgrade's busy center, basically, with many tourist sites just a walk away. Belgrade residents quickly got to know Renzon, as he would perform juggling tricks for money. This is somewhat common in tourist areas of Belgrade, just like there are buskers in NYC's subways. In the articles I've read, most Belgrade residents familiar with him had no issue and he was not a bothersome presence, but an entertaining one.

Prior to his arrival in Belgrade, he claimed his passport was stolen in North Macedonia, at Lake Ohrid. It is unknown how he entered Serbia without a passport. From my understanding, only members of EU member states and/or signatories to the Schengen Agreement can enter and exit Macedonia with a personal ID, and Serbia requires passport upon entry for all foreign nationals. His girlfriend says that he was effectively stuck in Serbia until he could get a new passport, but that in and of itself required leaving the country to go to a Colombian embassy, the nearest of which is located in Budapest, Hungary.

On January 8th, 2023, Habitat Hostel called emergency medical services, as it appeared Renzon was suffering from a seizure. According to his missing person's page, he has been diagnosed with epilepsy. He was first taken to the Vojnomedicinska Akademija (Military Hospital Academy), then transferred to the Klinika za Infektivne i Tropske Bolesti (The Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases). There was no reason listed for the transfer, nor any indication that he was suffering from anything else other than the seizure he had at the hostel. The hospital has discharge records for the same date, January 8th. He has not been heard from since. The Colombian embassy in Budapest was notified of the situation by Serbian authorities. The Serbian authorities themselves, however, were only notified of his disappearance two months later, on March 8th, 2023.

Renzon is 175 cm tall and 65 kg. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos of the Tasmanian Devil, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck on his chest, and a tattoo of a traffic light on his inner arm.

His girlfriend noted that Renzon had a history of "psychiatric issues" (quoting directly from the article). Is it possible he might have had effects from the seizure that left him disoriented, leaving him more vulnerable to accidents or foul play?
