The academics are good, but the housing and other services here leave a lot to be desired. due to over-admission in the last few years, about 1/3 of rooms are a "forced triple", or a double room with three people living in it. many common rooms have also been converted into rooms. Other services, like the busses, dining halls, and student health services have all been affected, and for all of these you can expect long lines/wait times. on top of this, the housing market in the area has been very hurt by this, and apartment hunting has never been harder or worse. Most of the administration is highly unpopular with both students and teachers, and the sitting president recently received a vote of no confidence from the staff.
All that being said, the academics are very solid, and this is a great place to learn, but not a great place to live.
