Ok, my grad orientation starts in Aug 13th and I don't have a place to live! I have a few options but renting by myself is not going to be less than $800 for something small and far from campus or close to campus in a bad area. I'll be a TA this semester so I'm getting paid $1500 minus taxes. I gotta make the best of that money, is all I get.
I found a roommate on Craiglist but she haven't answered today and I wanted to start the application process for the lease today before everything's gone. There's a great apartment complex like 10 minutes away from UH (driving) a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The rent in this complex would be $1100 divided by two is not bad. I'm open to live somewhere else if you have a place to offer as well.
I'm a female graduate student so I'd rather live with someone over 25 years old. I'm super focused in my studies and I promise I make a good roommate.
