VIP Experience - Thoughts?

Hi everyone!
Background: I've been going to universal for a long time, and am tempted to buy the VIP experience for one day. I'm planning to go for 4 days in Sept. for HHN, and was considering buying this since I've never done it before.
Has anyone done the VIP experience (2 parks) in the last year?
If so, what are your thoughts? Is it worth the heft price tag? Is it just a glorified express pass?
