Motion sickness and unable to drive day after visiting the park?

Post Body

Technically went to Universal Hollywood but the rides are mostly the same. This was my first time there and just about every ride was a motion simulator. We went on all of them and did not feel so great when I left the park. Today I’m driving five hours back home and when I tried to drive I felt very much like I was still in a motion simulator. Like I’m staying still and the world around me is moving. It probably doesn’t help that the road is flat and the surrounding area is all desert. But I had to tap out of driving after 30 minutes because it didn’t seem safe and my reaction time was delayed.

Has anyone else experienced this the day after? And if so how do I get it to go away? I plan on trying again once we get back to a more densely populated area. Maybe the diversity of my surroundings will make a difference. Worth mentioning I learned I really do not like motion simulator rides since it makes my vertigo act up.
