going to universal for the first time, any advice on endless summer?

first time at the parks coming up and looking for a budget friendly option to stay for a couple days. i've looked at the endless summer hotels (surfside & dockside) and they look really nice and are a really good deal for the price.
was just wondering if either surfside or dockside was better than the other or if they're pretty much the same? thanks!
