I ride Velocicoaster about once a month, and always hope it will roll back at the second launch (article here if you don't know what I mean).
What causes the rollback, and how does enough inertia "re-gain" to make the "re-launch of the 2nd launch" work?
I know it is a rare feat, but it does happen.
Would it mean too many cars are in the bay, since there is not a length of track to E-Stop until you finish the Mosasaurus Roll? I wouldn't think it could launch without clear enough track, but I suppose that second launch point is also an E-Stop. It could happen when moving a car into maintenance, I suppose.
Additionally: How would the rollback effect the launch to the top hat? How do the magnets compensate for that lost energy?
Just curious if anyone else wonders too!
