Transparency shader acting strange

I'm trying to place a semi-transparent object within another semi-transparent object. In the below scene, you can clearly see many pink cubes with blue cubes within them rendering normally, however the upper middle cube is rendering differently. I'm using Unity's default transparent rendering mode.

If anyone could point me towards a solution or explain why this is happening I would appreciate it. Note that I'm very new to shader programming.
