Long long time ago I dipped my toes on AR using one of the first Vuforia plugins available for Unity. It was just a super simple Poc at work that didn't went far, and, more or less, forgot about it.
Some months ago I recovered this interest, read a bit, saw that "Vuforia was integrated with Unity", and thought to do a small, new, Poc.
The thing is that I've been watching some of the presentations done at Unite Berlin 2018 on AR, where they were presenting AR Foundation and their upcoming features, and this lost me completely, as I thought that "Vuforia was the way to go" for AR in unity, but it turns out that you could also use ArKit and ARCore (depending of your target device).
So, my question is (links to articles would be appreciated): Where does Vuforia rests on this hierarchy? Its on par with AR Foundation (as it has Vuforia Fusion for, it seems, the same idea)?
And something that can break my schedule: What are the advantages of using Vuforia versus AR Foundation and viceversa? It seems to be the same way to get something, one "native", the other "with more experience", but I can't really see more from that.
Thanks!
