NavMeshAgent destination is Infinity?

From the documentation I recognized the following:

• If the agent is not mapped to the navmesh (e.g. Scene has no navmesh) - returns a position at infinity.

However, my NPCs have NavMeshAgent components, the NavMesh is baked and they are moving around on the NavMesh

It seems as if for instances of time between correctly moving along the NavMesh, the NavMeshAgent destination is showing as a Vector3 (Infinity, Infinity, Infinity)

Has anyone else faced this issue and can it just be ignored?
