For those of you who do not follow the internal politics of NDZ and the Danzilonan Federation (you should if you enjoy intrigue, Machiavellian power struggles, the occasional scandal, and infrastructure posts galore), one idea I proposed in my platform for Foreign Representative was the construction of a U3P welcome center in New Danzilona.

What do you mean by welcome center? Basically, my thought is that this could be a building that houses information about the U3P generally and each town that wishes to publicly disclose information about it. I envision this being split up into individual rooms which towns could customize with a unique style or theme to represent their town, perhaps a large map of the town, either some signs or books telling a bit of info about the town, and instructions on who to contact/how to join/where to go.

Why New Danzilona? As one of the biggest cities in the , , and located near a spawn range, we see many new or migrating players come through. Since we're a stop on the CIC and many other international lines, this would be a natural starting point. If the rail project many have talked about in the , comes to fruition, we'll also be the start of the U3P line.

What's the point? The U3P is now one of the longest-lived organizations on 2.0 (7 months), yet many established players don't know much about us. It is exhausting to have to explain things over and over to new citizens or travelers, but something like this might be able to deliver the info in a much more compelling way. Plus, it has the added bonus of being able to pass along info even when nobody else is online.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention. A goal of this welcome center is to help generate interest in the U3P in new players and encourage immigration to member cities.
