I have started building a road network for the northern part of the , , which I hope will eventually reach from Holy Tree (which connects to the road network of the NW) to Blackcrown and from the RSSR to Grundeswald.
This image details the roads I have already built and the ones I plan(ned) to. The red lines I have built so far, the orange ones are the ones I plan to build next, the yellow ones afterwards. The purple one already exists, built by someone else (and doesn't have food stations either). The black one was refused by the LSIF.
I plan on building food stations, like the ones Holy Tree had, along the road, every 200 meters, along with signs pointing to the nearest towns. West of New Danzilona, that might serve to "catch" some newfriends as well.
The look I had planned for those roads would be smaller than the extremely wide one used in Breslau. I intent to build them out of stone brick, lowered in the ground by one block, consisting of two stairs around two slabs in the middle, like this: █████╚ ═ ═ ╝█████
I also try to make my roads look natural, so my roads don't go in straight lines if there are obstacles (including minor hills), and do change levels when appropriate. And of course, they never "float" above the terrain.
The reason I'm posting this here is - as should be clear from the map - that most of the roads I plan to build next run through UP territory. The one I'm currently working on, the R5, has actually reach the Prussian border, and I'm not quite sure if the territory behind that river (~12200/~4200) is Blackcrown's.
Please let me know which nations of the UP are OK with me building these roads through their respective territory, and especially if not, where that territory *is * ;)
