Here are some of the key talking points from the mumble conference:

What are some concrete goals we would like to accomplish in the month of January?

• We would like to establish a single vault for the whole of the United Provinces. The location of the vault has not yet been determined. Only senators and the secretary general will have access to the vault. If there is debate over whether or not a pearl should be maintained in the vault there will be a vote. Otherwise the criteria for a pearl to be held in the vault is that the criminal must be wanted by a UP town.

• A single snitch network will be established for the UP. Individual towns will be responsible for the placement and maintenance of snitches within their own borders. They will also be responsible for allowing citizens access to the network but only the secretary general and senators will be moderators of the network.

Offering/accepting new cities into the UP.

• A town must have a minimum of five residents to be eligible for entry into the UP. The UP will not actively recruit towns, instead a town must approach the UP with interest in joining. The ultimate decision to bring a town into the UP will be determined upon a vote by the senators.

Land claims.

• This is being dealt with on a private subreddit in order to ensure the continued secrecy of our private towns.

Establishing ourselves on the world stage.

• We will not be making a reddit post on /r/civcraft announcing ourselves. We will stick with word of mouth advertising. We will also be creating a wiki page for ourselves. The key idea is that we are trying to avoid hyping ourselves and let others do it for us. That said it is perfectly fine to mention our existence but please do not do so in a blatant manner, especially on the main sub.

Foreign Relations.

• We have determined that for the time being we should maintain a largely isolationist stance. We will refrain from involving ourselves in the affairs of others as much as possible. Or as Aaycoth so eloquently put, "Don't fuck with us, and we won't fuck with you".
